Sistersound’s first drummer, Dave Garrett, seemed to always be painting, listening to indie rock, and living by very humble means. A super sweet guy with a unique sort of gawky drum style who kept the early tunes focused on the beat and a frenzy of 16th note drum fills. He was the first to join Eve and helped launch the band, recording on a slew of early songs. A pencil sketch from his art school days is also featured on the first cassette LP, which was released by Slow Death Fan ‘Zine.
