Rockshow circus hootenanny and dance party

We arrived at UN Plaza to play a generator show and were greeted by 3 stilt-walkers handing out Matt Gonzalez flyers. Sistersound got a solid 5 songs out, playing to a throng of street punks, various urban youth, some of SF’s homeless citizens, and more nondescript audience members, all politically charged to get Matt Gonzalez into office as the San Francisco mayor. I’m always surprised by who comes up afterwards to thank or encourage us. Proof that there are open-minded people from all walks of life. Thanks to Rachel and Raini for getting us involved in this event, and to all the people who introduced yourselves to us, afterwards. It was a pleasure. More info on the schedule page.
